TRANSFEMME MEETS NARCISSUS
when he entered the hotel pool it was empty
red hot
cool night air tickling surface tension inky pond
i s ink
a dim resemblance beginning to smile
im beg ing
grabbed his hair & banged his head against the pool edge
a hea t
so sore so soft mouth all gooey & gummy
so so y ummy
this is just me standing here. his brain lying on the ground
this is just her lying
Spongiform Encephalopathy
iform a path
I willingly swallowed & digested
I will wallow & di e
the pestilence of the body
pest bo y
where are all your brain holes now?
where are you o no
beyond that river made of dark he sits
eyon of dark s
a diamond wood-lattice studded with teeth
wood i ded eet
Amygdala recapitula. over & over
mygd o o
capitulate. capitulate. capitulate. capitulate.
i ate. i ate. i ate. i ate.
mourning beckons morning beckons
u con m e
with a pearl-handled knife
i a pear a dled
There's no one better for the messy job
There's no one better for me
he crouches & thinks. the light of the faceless moon
& the light of f
& the light on
& the light on
